WHERE/WHEN

Rachel and I will be seated in Artist's Alley, tables AA93 and AA108 and should be there most of the show.

SIGNING

I will be signing books/comics/statues/etc at my table the whole show and for free.

COMMISSION SKETCHES

I will take sketch requests at the start of the show Saturday and the first part of Sunday.

I will write down all names however I will be choosing myself who's sketch I'm drawing and if you had a sketch recently I won't be doing you a sketch so I can try to get sketches down for fans who I haven't done sketches for.

Sketches are $250 each for a single figure and $150 for a bust.

ORIGINAL ART

I will be selling original art from Songes/Muse, Avengers, Avenging Spider-Man, The Defenders, Uncanny X-Men, Wonder Woman and selected covers, pinups and sketches.

PRINTS/POSTCARDS

I will have the my new Down Under print plus the New York, San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, Paris and Seattle prints for sale. I will also have postcards of all the prints available as well.

Just wrapped the Bombshells 7 sketchbook up and am going over notes with my publisher, John Fleskes before it goes to the printer.

I will post details/links on these two appearances soon!

Currently, I'm working on some of Brian Bendis' final issue of "Avengers", #34. Plus, the cover to "Gambit"#6 and the laying out my new creator owned book - more details soon.

Long overdue update!

Currently, I'm drawing "Avengers" #33 with Brian Bendis - very fun stuff - will be shipping in November. I'm working on covers for the Marvel Comic's series - "Captain Marvel" and "Gambit" and a cover for the CBLDF "Liberty" comic. I'm also working on some toy related art that I will announce as soon as I can. Finally, I'm painting a book cover and an black and white interior.

Finally, my next appearance will be in about a month at NYCC 2012 -

Ok, this con is so short and I will have virtually no time to draw sketches because this is my first trip to London and I'm not going to be sitting in my hotel room sketching while I should be out on a double decker bus - but I know a lot of you want to get on my sketch list so I am taking a pre-convention sketch list for the first time.

So, in order to get on the list you have to -

a) be able to pick up the sketch at the Kapow Con May 19-20 in London, England in PERSON!
b) Pay for 1/2 sketch upfront to reserve your spot on the list
c) and I get to choose which sketches I'm doing

SO HERE'S THE DETAILS

As it will be very difficult to take a list and do the sketches at the show, I'm going to take a list of pre-show sketches online. I will do as many as I can and I will notify you by email if you have been selected.

After I inform via email that you have been selected - to reserve sketch, pay 1/2 up front via Paypal and the rest in person when you pick up sketch. You can pay the full amount up front via Paypal if you want.

These sketches will be done before and during the show, not after.

PRICES

- 11x14"  "Convention Sketch" bust (waist/torso up) - pen, greytone markers, colored pencil on colored paper £100

- 11x17"  "Convention Sketch" full figure - pen, greytone markers, colored pencil on colored paper  £185

NOTES ON SKETCHES

-All single figure

-One sketch per person

-Can be done on White Strathmore Bristol Board instead of colored for same price but let me know NOW!

-If pencil only add £60 to price

-If ink only (no added greytone) add £30 to price

-I have final say on which sketches I do, how many, my interpretation of character, taste, etc, but I assume you want me to do the sketch for a reason

-Rachel will not be inking any sketches

DETAILS

You must pick up IN PERSON at the Kapow! Comic Convention in London May 19-20.

If you don't pickup in person I'm will sell the sketch as I will not be mailing art or making any other arrangements.

These are CONVENTION sketches not commissions and will treated and executed like my traditional convention sketches and there are plenty examples of sketches online so there shouldn't be any surprises.

No returns, refunds, hassles, etc.

I'm just trying to get sketches to those of you who want sketches and can't make it to shows in the US!

Hopefully that is everything! This is my first time doing a pre-convention list - I will do my best to deal with your request. If not, know I tried I reserve the right to make changes and extra REASONABLE requests to this list, if I happen to remember later, but for the benefit of all!

Great show in Seattle this weekend, again!

The fans were amazing (and of course the show itself was run extremely well by Jim Demonakos), and it was CRAZY busy - felt like San Diego - but just comics and a manageable size. I got to see and chat with a bunch of other pros - there are so many there and you get a chance to talk to everyone (if you can get away from you table that is).

And of course, Seattle is a great city to visit - never enough time to see everything we wanted to. Rachel stuck gum to the gumwall at Pike Place, we had crumpets at the Crumpet Shop, had breakfast at the Athenian with a view of the sound, had an amazing doughnut at Top Pot and made it up to Captitol Hill for a dinner.

The reception to the Seattle Print was better than expected and we sold out Saturday afternoon - thanks! I will be doing another printing of it, because so many people wanted and it will be available at future appearances and IF I can solve shipping problems,  available online as well.

I ended up doing 7 commissions. As usual, there wasn't more than 10 minutes of free time at the show to do the commissions so I ended up having to do them in the hotel room. I will start posting the drawings this week.

Didn't have time to see anything else at the con but I was given the new Bruce Timm Naughty and Nice book (courtesy of the publisher and all around good guy John Fleskes) and Brittney Lee's book (who did a great little dedication for Rachel and I) - she was sitting directly across from us and we kept noticing her art. She's works for Disney Feature Animation and does the prints for fun - check her out.
