Actually, I never liked Elektra. She was one of those comics' protagonists - whether good or evil - that I found nothing of real interest in. Even when she died, I didn't care for her. Oh, and I cared for Gwen Stacy or Capt. Mar-Vell a lot! Even the Goblin's death did matter to me. But Elektra? Not really. I guess it was the characterization that didn't appeal to me.

Now I have to admit that your sketch made me care for her! I can sense the original 'spirit' of her character in it, but for the first time I can tell (so it seems to me) that there is something beyond this. Something appealing.

I may not like Elektra in the future - but I like what you did with the character, Terry. I guess that's what good art is about. To take care for it. To find something new.

Great work, Terry!
(P.S.: I hope you'll get the message from the words above! With German being my native language, I need to practize English more often!)

In this one she's powerful and sexy, you captured perfectly the character! I like those open lines of the bandage on her legs, that's style!

Nice work!. I haven't read any Elektra since Frank Miller;s "Elektra Assassin" with the amazing Bill Sienkiewicz watercolours back in '86 (showing my age there). This image brought it right back so you're obviously doing something right!

I really like the hatching on the graphic element behind her and how that is echoed in the shoulder blade.
