Carte de Voeux Watercolor

Here's some more watercolors - this a "Carte de Voeux" (New Year's Card) I did for Galerie du 9eme art a couple of years ago. I was going for that "Leyendecker New Years baby" look.

I painted this on 13 x 19 Fabriano Classico 300 Hot Press Paper, with Watercolors. Then in Photoshop, I then scanned the painting and dropped a layer of the linedrawing on top to darken up the lines. Finally I did little color corrections on the flesh, cloth and background.
